Veterans Day was yesterday, but I wanted to wish a special Happy Veterans Day to Richard Arvin Overton.

Why?

Because he is 112 years old and the world’s oldest living World War II veteran.

… Richard also smokes cigars, drinks whiskey, and drives his own car. His favorite ice cream flavor is the same as mine also (see Vicki Denig’s article about him below).

Happy Veterans Day, Richard.

And Happy Veterans Day to all the brave men and women who have served our country.

Your service is sincerely appreciated.
